NBC deletes a post – and the blogosphere knows it
2 Comments Published January 15th, 2007 12:27 Tags: Blogging, Media, News sitesMichael Arrington at TechCrunch has a post on the fact that a guy at NBC published a post about NBC's social networking policy on his blog, and then removed it.
As Arrington points out »it’s always the deleted blog posts that get the most attention« — so there's no point in deleting the policy for NBC, [...]

It's official: I really really really like MyBlogLog
1 Comment Published January 10th, 2007 17:35 Tags: Blogging, MyBlogLog, YahooAfter Yahoo's acquisition of MyBlogLog I hurried to the site and signed up.
And I must say I'm impressed, and therefore I've already bought a month's worth of membership ($3) and if I continue to like it I'll sure pay for a year ($25).
Besides being a service where like-minded bloggers can connect to and talk with [...]

Yet another Yahoo acquisition: MyBlogLog
1 Comment Published January 9th, 2007 10:49 Tags: Acquisitions, Blogging, YahooI have previously written about Yahoo acquisitions in 2005 and 2006, and now Yahoo has been out buying again.
This time it's MyBlogLog a service aiming to connect like-minded bloggers in communities. You just add your blog by typing in the URL/URI. Apparently MyBlogLog also has a built in statistics module, that requires you to add [...]

Is Google really blogging?
1 Comment Published January 1st, 2007 13:51 Tags: Blogging, Blogs, GoogleOver at Techcrunch there's a post entitled "What Is The Definition Of A Blog?".
It's about the definition of what a blog actually is, obviously, when it comes to comments.
Some blogs, like for example the Google Blog doesn't allow reader comments.
And Techcrunch' Michael Arrington thinks that's a shame:

The Danish Broadcasting Corporation is using WordPress
3 Comments Published November 23rd, 2006 22:51 Tags: Blogging, Blogs, DR, WordPressI've been posting about how The Danish Broadcasting Corporation is using WordPress for their blogs, without mentioning it, at my ByteMe-blog (in Danish).
I consider this to be quite a big deal for WordPress :) It's just too bad, that DBC doesn't mention it on their site.
Visit the blogs.
