Open source, Google, WordPress, Firefox, Mozilla, Microsoft
I might change them later, but right now they are some [...]

PC World: WordPress is number 2 platform

PC World has compiled a top 5 of blogging platforms — where WordPress.com comes in second.
From the few times I've tried Blogger appears to be a lot less stabile than WordPress.com… but maybe it's just me…

Danish newspaper chooses WordPress

Danish newspaper Politiken has chosen WordPress (actually WordPress MU (for multiple users) as the system to base their "reader blogs" on, Kim Elmose — blog editor at Politiken — tells me.
If you can read Danish, here's an article on the decision.
Very exciting :D

Forbes has created a list entitled "The Web Celeb 25" about — you guessed it — the 25 most known celebrities on the web.
Have a look at it to see what you think — I'm not to crazy about that list.
Although there are some good guys in there (Robert Scoble, Seth Godin, Glenn Reynolds, Michael [...]

Michael Arrington at TechCrunch has a post on the fact that a guy at NBC published a post about NBC's social networking policy on his blog, and then removed it.
As Arrington points out »it’s always the deleted blog posts that get the most attention« — so there's no point in deleting the policy for NBC, [...]

After Yahoo's acquisition of MyBlogLog I hurried to the site and signed up.
And I must say I'm impressed, and therefore I've already bought a month's worth of membership ($3) and if I continue to like it I'll sure pay for a year ($25).
Besides being a service where like-minded bloggers can connect to and talk with [...]

I have previously written about Yahoo acquisitions in 2005 and 2006, and now Yahoo has been out buying again.
This time it's MyBlogLog a service aiming to connect like-minded bloggers in communities. You just add your blog by typing in the URL/URI. Apparently MyBlogLog also has a built in statistics module, that requires you to add [...]

Is Google really blogging?

Over at Techcrunch there's a post entitled "What Is The Definition Of A Blog?".
It's about the definition of what a blog actually is, obviously, when it comes to comments.
Some blogs, like for example the Google Blog doesn't allow reader comments.
And Techcrunch' Michael Arrington thinks that's a shame:
I believe the term “blog” means more than an [...]

I've been posting about how The Danish Broadcasting Corporation is using WordPress for their blogs, without mentioning it, at my ByteMe-blog (in Danish).
I consider this to be quite a big deal for WordPress :) It's just too bad, that DBC doesn't mention it on their site.
