Get Flocking in five minutes
0 Comments Published August 15th, 2007 19:25 Tags: Browsers, Flock, SoftwareEvan Hamilton from the Flock team informs us that they have created a "getting started" guide to the Flock Browser.
Even though it's kinda short (according to Evan you should be able to learn how to flock in five minutes) I think it pretty well covers the most important areas of Flock. An interactive "getting started [...]

I nearly forgot: Flock 0.9 is out
3 Comments Published July 18th, 2007 15:25 Tags: Browsers, Firefox, Flock, MozillaWoops, I nearly forgot to mention, that Flock 0.9 is out — a browser that I have been fortunate enough to test prior to its release.

Tip: Minimal Firefox
0 Comments Published June 14th, 2007 22:06 Tags: Browsers, Firefox, Mozilla, SoftwareBy moving address and search bar and hiding the navigation and bookmarks toolbars, you can actually get a pretty minimal browser out of Firefox with a lot of space to display the websites.
Of course it means, that you have to either use the menus or know the Firefox keyboard shortcuts ;-)

Get Safari's features in Firefox
0 Comments Published June 14th, 2007 21:37 Tags: Apple, Browsers, Firefox, Mozilla, Safari, SoftwareInstead of switching to Safari, you can get the best features in Safari in your Firefox. Just follow this guide at the Lifehacker blog.

Safari style address bar in Firefox
2 Comments Published June 13th, 2007 16:31 Tags: Browsers, Extensions, Firefox, FlockOne of the few things I like about the Mac browser Safari is the combined address bar and loader. But now you don't have to have Firefox Safari to get that feature.
Just use the Fission extension, which I'm using right now — yes, it works with Flock (0.9 Beta) as well!
