This is the conclusion in a count of the pings done by the ebiquity research group at University of Maryland:
53% of all pings is [...]

Track your conversations

Aaah, the weekend is upon me :)
Inspired by what's currently happening at Rene's blog I've also chosen to integrate coComment into my blog.
coComment is basically a tool you can use to track the various conversations you've got going on a various blogs around the web.
Cool! No more subscribing to comment feeds from blogs where I [...]

PC World: WordPress is number 2 platform

PC World has compiled a top 5 of blogging platforms — where WordPress.com comes in second.
From the few times I've tried Blogger appears to be a lot less stabile than WordPress.com… but maybe it's just me…

Danish newspaper chooses WordPress

Danish newspaper Politiken has chosen WordPress (actually WordPress MU (for multiple users) as the system to base their "reader blogs" on, Kim Elmose — blog editor at Politiken — tells me.
If you can read Danish, here's an article on the decision.
Very exciting :D

Forbes has created a list entitled "The Web Celeb 25" about — you guessed it — the 25 most known celebrities on the web.
Have a look at it to see what you think — I'm not to crazy about that list.
Although there are some good guys in there (Robert Scoble, Seth Godin, Glenn Reynolds, Michael [...]

It's about the definition of what a blog actually is, obviously, when it comes to comments.
Some blogs, like for example the Google Blog doesn't allow reader comments.
And Techcrunch' Michael Arrington thinks that's a shame:
I believe the term “blog” means more than an [...]

I've been posting about how The Danish Broadcasting Corporation is using WordPress for their blogs, without mentioning it, at my ByteMe-blog (in Danish).
I consider this to be quite a big deal for WordPress :) It's just too bad, that DBC doesn't mention it on their site.
Visit the blogs.

Technorati adds search RSS'ing

I'm not sure when Technorati added this feature (which Google Blog Search has had for some time), but now it's possible to add any search as an RSS feed.
Feed for a search on "New Media"….nifty!
