Danish WordPress
I've also been told that a Danish translation of the new WordPress version is on its way. Once it's ready you can get it from wordpress.dk/download.

So, as a result of this, you now have to answer a simple math question, whenever you want to leave a comment. I hope this is not a problem, if it really pisses you off, drop me a line ;-)

Actually, the nice folks at WordPress have created a page with various antispam tools:

As I pointed out a moment ago, Ultimate Tag Warrior had to go — after a tip from mister WordPress.dk, René.

One of the reasons was, that categories kept showing up in my WordPress administration even though I had deleted them and I got some nasty errors saying that certain categories did not exist.

So I removed the Ultimate Tag Warrior — who's ultimate now eh? ;-) — and deleted the categories and now it's working.

The integrated tagging structure in WordPress seems to be working like a glove. It's totally anarchy and I can't manage the tags anywhere. Guess that's how it has to be with tags ;-)

If you're planning on using the tag structure in WordPress 2.3 then this is a must read! If you know where to look you're done in no time.

I'll be making the update in the very near future. Included in WP 2.3 is a tagging structure, so I'll try to convert my tags into the new tagging system and limit my category system.

Hope for the best — but expect complete utter failure :-)

I figured out that it had to be because of the GeoPress plugin I have installed on this WordPress blog, which allows me to geotag my posts using Google Maps.

So I deactivated the plugin, and now the blog loads faster. The funny thing is, that I never got around to use the GeoPress plugin, so it remains a mystery — or something similar — why it tried to connect to the Google Maps site…
