I prefer the Firefox plugin: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2390/ – it supports 60+ sites.

But you would have to use it with Online FLV Converter to get a reasonable file output, instead of FLV…

I use http://www.savetube.com to save any youtube videos, it has a cool latest section also.
