I'm afraid I have to agree. Lately Technorati hasn't been doing so well with a lot of searches returning in a "error — please try again later" message.
Maybe it's time to consider Google's blogsearch?

I guess I am not much of a user for Blog search engines.
Okay I took a very good look at these two search engines plus two others which were mentioned in the first article. A Blog Search Engine?
